1. Who these terms are for
These Seller Terms apply when you use FynBud to sell seats on training sessions or trips ("listings"). They add to the Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines, which still apply. By confirming the seller terms in the app or the portal you accept them.
2. Who can sell
You must be at least 18 years old, hold an account in your own name, and either hold a verified instructor certificate on your FynBud profile or have been enabled as a seller by FynBud for an organization you run. You must hold a current instructor rating for the training you sell and, where your agency requires it, liability insurance. You are the responsible seller for every listing you publish, even when an organization or another host appears on it.
3. Your listings
You set the price, the number of seats, the schedule, and the requirements. Everything you write must be accurate, including the certification level required to join and any equipment or fitness requirement. You may not list training you are not qualified to deliver. The price you list on FynBud must not be higher than the price you offer for the same seat anywhere else, including your own chat groups, social media and website. You may give discounts to individual students privately; you may not advertise a lower price for the same seat in public.
3a. How listings are shown
FynBud orders listings by objective criteria that apply equally to every seller. Today these are the start date and, where the buyer chooses it, the distance from the buyer. If the criteria change, the new criteria will be published and will apply equally to every seller. FynBud gives no preference to its own listings, or to listings by its founder or staff, in ordering, advertising or notifications, and never uses one seller's roster or buyer details to promote another seller.
4. Payment and fees
Buyers pay in the FynBud app through Stripe. FynBud charges the platform fee shown when you publish the listing; today it is 12 percent of the seat price, with no flat amount and no minimum. Stripe's payment processing fee, and the VAT Stripe charges on it, are deducted by Stripe from your own balance on top of the platform fee. The charge is made on your own Stripe account, so Stripe pays you on its own schedule under its own terms and FynBud never holds your money. A change to the fee is shown in the app and needs your fresh confirmation before you publish a new listing.
Manual payment (bank transfer or PromptPay outside Stripe) is available only when FynBud enables it for your account. Expense splitting between members of a session is a peer arrangement between them and is not a sale.
5. Cancellations and refunds
A buyer may ask for a refund from their booking, and you or FynBud decide it in the app. Answer every request within 3 days. If you cancel a session, every paid buyer is refunded in full. Refunds are paid back through Stripe from the amount you received; the platform fee is returned on a refunded seat. Thirty minutes after a session starts, members can no longer leave it from the app; anything after that point goes through the refund request. Once a session has started you can no longer cancel it either; from then on you refund booking by booking through the same refund request.
Refunds come out of your own Stripe balance, because that is where the charge was made. Keep enough in it to cover a refund you owe: if the balance is short, Stripe cannot complete the refund until you top it up, and the buyer waits. Stripe keeps its processing fee on a refunded seat: the buyer gets the full seat price back and FynBud returns its platform fee, but Stripe's fee stays with Stripe.
Some refunds do not complete right away. A PromptPay refund can need the buyer to give Stripe their bank details first, and it stays open until they do. A charge the buyer has disputed with their bank cannot be refunded at all until the dispute is decided.
A seat paid outside Stripe — cash, a transfer, or a seat you gave away — never passed through FynBud, so FynBud cannot send back money it never took; you settle that with the buyer directly. You may also refund a Stripe seat from your own Stripe Dashboard. FynBud may not be told when you do, so the app can go on showing that seat as paid until the two records are reconciled.
FynBud holds none of your money and does not pay refunds for you: not a shortfall, not a goodwill payment, not a seat that could not be refunded. If a buyer comes to us about a refund you owe, support will contact you.
6. Safety and conduct
You are responsible for the safety of the sessions you run: buddy supervision, site conditions, equipment, and honouring the certification requirements you set. You must follow your training agency's standards and Thai law. FynBud is a marketplace and does not supervise sessions.
7. Photos and media
Members may ask for no public photos of them. You must honour every such request when you share session media, and you confirm you have permission for every item you publish through a public link. Session media expires 14 days after the session ends.
8. Taxes
You are responsible for any tax on your sales, including income tax and VAT. FynBud does not withhold tax and does not issue tax invoices on your behalf. Your sales records are in your Stripe Dashboard; FynBud issues a receipt for its platform fee on request.
If you are registered for VAT, the prices you set must include VAT, you issue the tax invoice to the buyer, and you account for the VAT on the full seat price. FynBud's platform fee is collected in full by Stripe; FynBud provides a statement of the fees it collected from you for any month on request, and a tax invoice for those fees once FynBud is itself registered for VAT.
9. Suspension and ending
FynBud may pause or end your seller access for safety concerns, fraud, repeated refund disputes, or breaches of these terms or the Community Guidelines, and will tell you why. You may stop selling at any time; sessions already sold must still be delivered or refunded.
10. Liability
To the extent Thai law allows, FynBud's liability to you is limited to the platform fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. You indemnify FynBud against claims arising from the sessions you run. These terms are governed by the law of Thailand and any dispute goes to the Thai courts.
11. Changes
FynBud may update these terms. Material changes are shown in the app and require a fresh confirmation before you publish a new listing.
